FVCA has grown to be the biggest venture capital association in the Nordic countries and our team has grown simultaneously. We are warmly welcoming two new colleagues and a familiar face is joining us in June – welcome Suvi, Heta and Juulia!

Suvi Collin, Head of Legal & ESG

”Hello! I’m Suvi, an experienced lawyer and ESG manager. I joined FVCA from Mandatum, where I worked with a variety of legal and ESG matters. My backround is mainly in taxation, financial regulation and sustainable finance. I’m extremely excited to join FVCA, as in this position I can combine my knowledge and expertise to the benefit of the whole PE & VC industry. In my work, I especially wish to promote the green transition and diversity in the industry.

In my spare time, I do a variety of sports, including but not limited to kitesurfing, hiking and downhill sking. I’m also a certified yoga instructor constantly looking for the perfect balance between work, play and well-being.”

”I’m very excited to have another lawyer as my working partner and for Suvi to join our team. With her expertise we can further develop the private equity industry, especially from the sustainable investment and green transition viewpoint”, tells Pia Santavirta, Managing Director of the FVCA.

Heta Pirttijärvi, Communications intern

”Hi! I’m Heta and I have just started as the new communications intern at FVCA. Currently, I’m a politics and communications masters student at the University of Helsinki. Previously, I have worked amidst communication at a trade union and as a freelance-journalist. Here at FVCA I assist in different communication tasks, like writing newsletters, blog posts and creating content for social media.

I applied to this position due to my personal growing interest towards venture capital and private equity. I’m looking forward to using my strengths and learning new things!

In my free time, I actively do sports, am enthusiastic about making good food and participate in the work of student organizations at my university.”

”Amazing to get Heta on the communications team! Her expertise, especially in journalistic content and visual tools, is an excellent addition to our team”, says Saara Vettenranta, Head of Communications.

In addition, we are happy to tell that Juulia Myllykangas is returning to our team after working at Dittmar & Indrenius.
