As Christmas approaches, we are delighted to welcome a new Event and Member Coordinator, Anne Pakkanen, to the team at the Finnish Venture Capital Association. Anne will take overall responsibility for events and member matters.
Anne Pakkanen holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Tampere, where she majored in Nordic languages. She has nearly fifteen years of experience working with events and training both in government administration and the non-profit sector.
Most recently, Pakkanen worked as an Event Producer at the Finland Chamber of Commerce, where she was responsible for producing topical societal seminars and various sustainability trainings. In addition, she has handled a wide range of marketing tasks, managed different partnerships, and supported communications and sales.
It is important to Anne to create content-rich and inspiring events that best serve their target audiences and provide real value for the time invested. In her free time, she enjoys music and cultural events as well as fitness boxing.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to develop the Finnish Venture Capital Association’s events and member activities to better meet the wishes and expectations of our members,” Pakkanen says.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Anne join our team. Her extensive experience in event production brings exactly the expertise we need to elevate our member events to the next level. She will also take responsibility for member affairs, enabling us to provide even stronger support to our members. I believe that with Anne, we will be able to build events that offer even more added value and truly serve the needs of our members,” says the association’s Managing Director, Anne Horttanainen.
