New funds, deals and exits

While our team was on a holiday, there was a lot happening in the investment scene. Here you can read a summary of what has been going on:

Funds
  • OpenOcean Fund 2020 3rd closing at €110m. The fund invests in European start-ups working with AI, data infrastructure, intelligent automation, and open-source software. It invests primarily at the Series A level with initial investments of €3m to €5m from OpenOcean. They are targeting a final closing of the fund after the summer holidays.
  • As part of its strategy, P Capital Partners now launches PCP Transition Partner Fund (“PCP Transition”). The fund will finance companies with, or in transition to, sustainable business models, and those who enable such transition for other companies. In its first close, PCP Transition receives capital commitments of 550 million euro, and the fund-raising process will continue during the fall. You can read more from here.
