Juulia Korkiavaara appointed as FVCA’s Head of Communications

Juulia Korkiavaara has been appointed as FVCA’s Head of Communications as of April 17th, 2023. Previously Juulia has been in charge of planning and executing the association’s events and worked on numerous communication projects, and now she takes the lead in communications as a whole.

“I am really excited to jump into this new role. In the past three years, I’ve gotten to know the industry and the vast networks very well, and I’m eager to now gain experience from a new perspective. It’s inspiring to start developing something new from something that’s already familiar”, Korkiavaara comments.

It’s wonderful to continue working with Juulia and to further develop the communications of the association and the entire industry,” says Anne Horttanainen, CEO of the Finnish Venture Capital Association.
