Kiilto Ventures invests in a startup that speeds up the calculation of subcontracting quotes in the metals sector

News

Offeri, a startup company, solves subcontracting quote calculation problems by reducing the manual work involved in calculating quotes and the need to update cumbersome systems.

Quotation calculations are time-consuming, requiring multiple documents, manually extracting data and calculating figures to get an accurate quotation. The problem is particularly acute for metal and construction subcontractors, who can spend up to 140 hours a week calculating quotes. Offeri is developing an automated tender calculation tool that will save up to ten times more time.

Offeri participated in the Kiilto Ventures accelerator programme in early 2025. The Kiilto Ventures accelerator is a bi-annual programme where early-stage entrepreneurs and start-ups rapidly develop their businesses and receive personalised guidance from Kiilto Ventures.

The startup went from software prototype to closing the first paying design partners in just six weeks.

“We were impressed by Offeri’s determination. The founders, Jani and Riku, put all their efforts into making the tool work. We were very impressed with their commitment, work ethic and attitude during the accelerator program,” says Christopher Mills, Discovery Partner at Kiilto Ventures.

“For us at Offeri, it is meaningful to provide relief for a work step that is important to handle with care, but can be expedited without sacrificing accuracy. Partnering with a major industry and construction player like Kiilto has been of huge importance to us,” says Jani Häggman, CEO and co-founder of Offeri.

Offeri will open its preseed financing in late 2025.
