Lyyti, the Nordic leader in event management SaaS, has grown from its Finnish foundation into an international business champion. The company will now join forces with SuperOffice, aiming to continue scaling its presence across the Nordics and Europe.
Lyyti’s platform is used by over 1,000 customers, managing registrations for more than 26 million event participants in 140 countries annually. The SaaS solution enables organizations to plan, manage and measure events end-to-end across in-person, hybrid and online formats. Lyyti stands apart through the Experience Value Score (EVS), a proprietary, outcome-based metric that measures whether an event delivered value and provides insights for organizations to improve future events.
Vaaka Partners became majority owner in 2019, at a time when Lyyti held a strong domestic market position and was preparing for accelerated international expansion.
Lyyti demonstrated innovation, resilience and adaptability as COVID-19 halted physical events globally. As the industry shifted to virtual-first almost overnight, the company rapidly expanded its offering to support online and hybrid events, enabling customers to maintain engagement even during lockdowns. This period catalyzed product development, strengthened the platform and confirmed the need for measuring event value — regardless of format.
Since its founding in 2007 by Petri Hollmén, Lyyti has achieved 75 consecutive quarters of uninterrupted growth, representing nearly two decades of continuous expansion. Such performance is exceptionally rare, particularly through pandemic disruption, and reflects deep customer trust alongside consistent operational excellence. The company is a proud “rule of 40” company, showing both industry leading profitability and consistent growth.
Under Vaaka’s ownership, Lyyti has more than doubled revenue, expanded internationally, strengthened its recurring revenue base and built a platform for scalable and profitable long-term growth. This journey has been achieved through the dedication of founder-CEO Petri Hollmén and a strong management team formed around him.
Together with SuperOffice, one of Europe’s leading CRM providers and growth companies, the combined group will exceed €67 million in recurring revenue. The partnership enables continued investment in innovation and product development, with a shared goal of building the most powerful event management and CRM-integrated ecosystem in Europe.
“Lyyti is an amazing company, and we are proud to have been a part of its successful journey, working together with Petri and his amazing team to navigate the unchartered waters. Lyyti is now well prepared for the next leg of its journey, and we are confident that it will continue to be successful. We wish the company and the new owners all the best for the future”, says Tomas Therén, Partner at Vaaka Partners.
“I am grateful for Vaaka’s ownership period. In addition to resilience during challenging times, they demonstrated a high level of professionalism in helping us evolve from an entrepreneur-led Finnish company to an international business champion. Together, we built a remarkable growth story amid the industry’s challenging years”, comments Petri Hollmén, Founder and CEO of Lyyti.
