Finnish health technology startup Ounas Health Oy has closed a pre-seed funding round of approximately €1 million. The round was led by Superhero Capital, with additional participation from public funding sources.
Ounas Health is developing technology that transforms fragmented clinical data into actionable insights, helping make care more seamless for both healthcare professionals and patients. The company is focused particularly on the intersection of healthcare and eye care.
By combining data, technology, and clinical understanding, Ounas Health aims to establish a new category in digital health centered on comprehensive and usable clinical insights.
“We are building technology that turns fragmented health data into something that can be meaningfully used in clinical workflows. Our goal is to support better decision-making and improve the flow of care,” said Ville Wuotila, CEO & Co-Founder of Ounas Health.

With the new funding, Ounas Health will focus on advancing its core technology, validating it in real clinical environments, and preparing for international growth.
The company is currently developing new solutions that it expects to introduce in the near future.
