With the new year here, we are happy to welcome our new analyst intern Miika Mähönen to our team! Miika’s role in the association includes monitoring the venture capital and private equity market as well as participating in industry research and statistics.
Miika is currently in his second year of studies at Aalto University, majoring in finance. Previously, Miika has worked in sales on the consumer side and participated in the startup ecosystem SILTA project. In addition to work and studies, Miika likes to spend his time playing ice hockey and working out at the gym.
“I became interested in investing already in middle school, and it’s great to be able to work in my area of interest. I look forward to learning about the venture capital and private equity industry and developing my skills in data processing and analysis.”, Miika comments.
