Aminopörssi has been one of the fastest-growing supplement and training gear retailers in Finland in recent years. Finnish private equity firm Sponsor Capital is now joining as a shareholder to support the company’s continued growth. Founder Anton Kiuttu will remain a major shareholder and continue as CEO.
Founded in 2009, Aminopörssi carries everything from sports supplements to training equipment and apparel, sold both through its own online store and its brick-and-mortar shop in Konala, Helsinki. Alongside third-party brands, the company’s own product lines play a central role – the best known being Nutri Works, one of the broadest supplement brands in Finland. In training equipment and apparel, Aminopörssi has brought several brands to Finland that were not previously available here.
“Aminopörssi began from a simple need: to find the best supplements at a good price from a Finnish store. Over the years, we’ve built exactly the kind of store I was looking for back then. Our own product lines come straight from what our customers ask for. With this arrangement and the extra support behind us, we can develop our range, our online store and our shop faster than before,” says CEO Anton Kiuttu.

Going forward, Aminopörssi will operate as an independent company within the same group as Sinunapteekki, the Finnish online store for health and wellbeing products. The arrangement has no direct impact on customers or partners. Aminopörssi’s online store and its Helsinki shop will continue to serve customers as usual.
