Jonne Kuittinen Appointed Deputy Chief Executive of the Finnish Venture Capital Association

Jonne Kuittinen has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive of the Finnish Venture Capital Association (FVCA). With this appointment, Kuittinen will focus even more on highlighting the significance of private equity and venture capital investors in driving new economic growth in Finland.

Kuittinen holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a major in finance from the University of Liechtenstein, as well as a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Tampere, where he majored in mathematics. Kuittinen has been with the FVCA for over a decade, serving in various roles, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer. Throughout his career at the FVCA, he has also been responsible for research and statistics within the Finnish private equity and venture capital industry.

“I am grateful and excited for this responsibility. Over the years, I have undertaken a wide range of tasks within the association. In my new role, I believe I can better utilize my extensive and long-standing expertise for the benefit of our fantastic team and the entire private equity and venture capital industry in Finland,” Kuittinen explains.

“The private equity and venture capital industry has been proven to be a significant driver of new economic growth in Finland, and our goal is to make this work even more visible,” he adds.

“It’s wonderful that we can harness Jonne’s broad expertise in the private equity and venture capital field for even more responsible roles and public discourse. In doing so, we aim to strengthen the visibility and recognition of the entire industry among the general public as well as decision-makers,” comments Anne Horttanainen, Managing Director of the FVCA.

“I see this appointment as a natural next step for Jonne, who has been an integral part of the association’s team for a long time. His contribution, particularly in developing statistics and research within Finland’s private equity and venture capital industry, has been significant,” remarks Juhana Kallio, Chair of the Board of the FVCA.
