Building Growth 2026
The finalists of the Building Growth competition, organized in collaboration with the Finnish Venture Capital Association and PwC, have been selected!
The winners will be announced at our flagship event, PE-VC Summit, on 8 October.
In the VC/Growth category, the finalists are EWQ, Fennoa and Takomo. In the Buyout category, the finalists are Nordic Bites Group, Veke and JIS Automation.
The winners will be selected by a jury of external experts.

Building Growth competition
The Building Growth competition is the association’s annual competition to find the most interesting growth story of the year. The competition looks for the most interesting and inspiring story of the year from over 600 Finnish portfolio companies of private equity and venture capital investors, highlighting how to build growth together with an investor. PwC has been a partner in the competition for more than a decade, and its experts are also involved in identifying potential companies.
Final and winners
The final of the competition, for the most interesting growth story of the year, is held at the Finnish PE-VC Summit, the main event of the year for private equity and venture capital investors. The winner will be selected by a three-person jury of investment and business professionals from different perspectives. Previous winners include ICEYE, Virta, Bolt.Works, Swappie, Smartly.io, Unisport, Kamux, and Musti ja Mirri.
